Our Mission

The Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Clinic at Wilmington Health Associates focuses on treating patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation. We offer education and state of the art treatment options to control the symptoms of AFib, to limit the medical consequences associated with the disorder, and to improve quality of life. We strive to uniquely tailor specific treatments to each patient by giving consideration to each individual’s medical history. The treatment services we provide include:

• Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation
• Medication-based treatments for AFib
• Device-related treatments for AFib

Our physicians were trained at the University of Virginia and The Cleveland Clinic, two leading academic centers at the forefront in the treatments for AFib. We also are involved in multi-center clinical research in treatment aspects of atrial fibrillation.
